Please be advised that the City has approved a temporary road closure for the intersection of Highway 56 at Maggie Johnston Crescent from Wednesday February 17th at 7am to Monday February 22nd at 9am. We are advised that the contract should be 5 days in length. They are starting construction on Wednesday and working through the weekend in order to re-open on Monday morning.

Truck traffic that normally travels on Highway 56 will be re-routed. Southbound trucks will be routed to Guyatt Road, west of Highway 56, south on Fletcher’s Road, east on Kirk Road and then back to Highway 56. Northbound truck traffic will be routed to Kirk Road, east of Highway 56, north on Hendershot Road and west on Guyatt Road and then back to Highway 56. Trucks traveling west on Binbrook Road, will be redirected to one of the above routes depending on their destination.
