Hamilton is in the process of harmonizing it’s city wide commercial and mixed use zones. This affects all areas of the former municipalities. A final draft has been prepared for the new harmonized commercial and mixed zones and there will be a number of ‘Open Houses’ throughout the City so that you can understand the changes and provide your input.

Staff will present and explain the purpose and intent of the seven new commercial and mixed use zones and zoning by-laws. Residents and local businesses are invited to attend and provide feedback.

The locations for these open houses within Ward 11 are:

Wednesday February 17, 2010
Binbrook Agricultural Hall
2600 Regional Road 56, Binbrook

Monday February 22nd
Stoney Creek Municipal Service Centre
777 Highway 8, Stoney Creek

All open houses will be from 2pm – 4pm with a presentation at 2:30pm and again from 6pm – 8pm with a presentation at 6:30pm. If you are unable to attend these, please click here for a list of other locations.
